What does Wallet mean in Blockchain?

Wallet that supports the token (TON Crystal) of the Free TON blockchain is in general referred to as a cryptocurrency wallet. These kinds of wallets secure the address of the money, private (secret) and public (open) passwords for users who want to store the TON value they have with the digital method.

Each Free TON wallet exists in the blockchain system, so one app's wallet can easily transfer funds to the wallet of the other app. All transactions, balances, accounts, messages and blocks in the Free TON blockchain are available on the project website ton.live, and whatever is done on this blockchain is available for everyone to see (if one knows the message, transaction, account or block ID). Each TON electronic wallet has its own address. Address is the only thing required to receive TON Crystal funds. One can share this address anywhere without having to worry. The Public Key of your TON wallet, which can be seen by others and allows them to send Free TON funds to your wallet, is the address of the Free TON wallet. Every wallet is traditionally protected with 12 or 24 seed phrases, these seed phrases usually consist of random English words, and you can back up the wallet only with this phrase. Because of virtual piracy it is better not to store this phrase in the virtual world, (f.e on your phone, on your computer) but in a notebook or paper at home and put it in a safe place. However, some wallets do not require a 12-word phrase. Traditionally, these crypto exchanges contain TON addresses in your account. So, your account acts as a TON Crystal wallet. Usually crypto exchanges use e-mail and passwords, some use a security phone number. There are a lot of options for your safety.

It is possible to use KiloX on iOS and Android Operating systems. The handy scanner of QR codes will help you make quick transactions without entering a wallet address. The special features of KiloX application are TON x BTC exchange and user-friendly interface.

Firston.

There was a Firston project coded by the Korean youth team. However, on their official website Firston team announced that they have ended the project, and invited everyone to use the KiloX application.

Gram Wallet.

Gram Wallet

All codes and documents of this completely open source application are on the Github website available for downloading. However, Gram wallet works only on the testnet2 network (test network). It is useful for developers and testers because it uses fake (test) money instead of real money.

After installation a window opens which recommends creating a digital wallet. After that, the user sees a 24-word phrase which he or she has to store in a safe place. Immediately after that, the system will select three random numbers and ask to confirm the corresponding words. When restoring the wallet or installing it on another platform, you will need to enter the complete 24 secret words so don't lose them, it's your key. Next, the user must find a password that will be used to confirm transactions. As in Telegram you can have several wallets at the same time on the same device or on different devices with different operating systems.

NG Wallet.

It is an application of Chinese fork based on testnet after the TON team had to cancel its own project. This application does not work on the mainnet.

At the start of the Free TON project, the former TON Chinese community criticized the Free TON team for launching the beta network based on their development of TON. They insulted the Free TON team and even called the TON Crystal token "shitcoin".

extraTON has created Free TON Decentralized bots (dapps) for user communication devices and wallets. This is not a classic wallet, it works as a browser extension. This program has become popular among Free TON users due to its easy staking feature. ExtraTON is an open source, non-commercial product. The app doesn't ask for wallet holders' keys and works through the browser extension we mentioned about earlier. It can send and receive TONs, just like any Free TON wallet. It also has the ability to write comments was also added. This plugin can run on both the main network (main.ton.dev) and the test network (net.ton.dev), so it is possible to test it on the test network before making a deposit. In January 2021, almost 500 people installed this program on their browser.
